Amanda is a Chartered Legal Executive and has many years’ experience as a family lawyer having joined Bonallack & Bishop’s offices in Salisbury in 1998.

Amanda specialises in all areas of family law and relationship breakdown.  Amanda is committed to her clients and focuses on helping them resolve their matters as swiftly and as amicably as possible often assisting them in reaching an end result which is bespoke to her clients’ needs.

Whilst Amanda regularly carries out advocacy in Court proceedings she considers it extremely important to be able to offer her clients a range of alternative forums in which they can choose to conclude their matters often minimising legal costs and conflict if Court proceedings are avoided.  Amanda is also a Resolution trained Collaborative Lawyer, a Resolution trained all issues Family Mediator and a Member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) and so understands all too well the emotional and financial problems her clients and their children experience.

Amanda has acted for many professionals including  business people, TV producers, Police, Teachers and Doctors.  She has particular experience in Armed Forces divorce.  As a Farmer’s daughter Amanda also has experience and knowledge of farming divorce cases.  As a result of her experience she represents clients nationally and internationally and is able to offer her clients appointments via Skype and Face Time.

Personal Interests

In her own time, Amanda has a love of the sea and says she has to be “…in it, on it or by it regardless of the weather.”  She often spends time in Cornwall body boarding and has walked a great deal of the south west coastal path.  These days Amanda’s feet are usually firmly on the ground but whilst living in Australia she is known to have abseiled down the outside of the Sydney Opera House to prove to her Aussie colleagues Brit chicks are simply the best!
